Each diocesan bishop of The Episcopal Church was invited to nominate a program, project, parish, committee or individual exhibiting best practices in stewardship education, training, recruitment or communication. Fifteen of the sixteen submissions have been documented to provide an outstanding new resource for congregations to create the “idea book” you’ve been waiting for! 2006 Best Practices Award Submissions contains all of the outstanding examples of leadership, excellence, innovation and creativity that were submitted to TENS by diocesan bishops. The three winning programs were recognized at the 2006 Apostles in Stewardship awards luncheon which was held at the 75th General Convention of the Episcopal Church. Twelve additional programs are also included in 2006 Best Practices Award Submissions to provide you with a full scope of exciting ideas for Stewardship education, training, recruitment, and communication.
