Job Description: I am the founding Executive Director of TENS (formally, the “Chief Operating Officer”) and in conjunction with the other staff, I am ultimately responsible for all day-to-day operations of our organization. I receive quite an assortment of calls, most often requesting references and information. Our callers are searching for speakers, presenters, and trainers for their parish and diocesan events; resources to assist them in parish Stewardship formation; and information about TENS’ conferences and other events.
What Kind Of Questions Do I Typically Answer?
I am frequently used as a resource to answer specific questions or to process a specific issue. I get inquiries regarding statistics on “what others in the Church are doing about Stewardship,” or help a caller make a decision about who might be the best presenter at a particular parish or diocesan event, or advise what resource might be best for a given situation.

Job Description: Ann Elizabeth Bishop has served as Office Administrator since 1997. She has been involved in Stewardship on a parish or diocesan level for 24 years. Her responsibilities include managing the membership database, editing and production of resources, filling orders, and coordinating registrations and materials for TENS’ events.
People Call Me Seeking: Most of my phone calls are regarding resources, membership or events. I take telephone orders for all TENS’ resources, handling purchases and also providing free resources for use at parish or diocesan Stewardship events. New memberships may be set up by phone, and members call me to check the status of their membership dues or benefits. I take phone registrations for April 11-12, 2008

In addition to taking orders, I can help with “What can I use as a hand-out for my parish/diocesan Stewardship program?” as well as “How fast can you ship that?.” With the help of my files and database, I answer “When is my renewal?” and “How much will my dues be?” plus the ever-popular “Does my diocese get a free registration to that?” Regarding April 11-12, 2008

Job Description: I am the Bookkeeper for TENS. My responsibilities include recording your gifts, membership dues, registration fees and purchases, and paying our vendors. I prepare financial reports for the Executive Director and Board of Directors and any others as required.
People Call Me Seeking: In checking on TENS’ accounts and working with our vendors, I make more phone calls than I receive. However, if I take your call to TENS, I am able to find out the answer to your questions or direct your call to the right person.
